Do you need to remove the seeds of Thuja?
Some varieties of thuja make a lot of seed levels every year. Others, on the other hand, flower only slightly and therefore carry very few fruits and seeds. The removal of the seeds is usually superfluous and hardly feasible in a long Thuja hedge.

Of course, you can use the seeds themselves to draw a tree of life for the hedge. However, this form of propagation is very complex and is therefore rarely practiced.
For propagation, harvest the seed in October and sow it preferably immediately in prepared culture dishes. The bowls are kept outside during autumn and winter, as Thuja is a cold germ. Many years can pass before germination.

The tree of life is poisonous! Particularly high is the concentration of toxins in the seeds. Make sure that they do not get into the hands of children.
Tips
Many thuja varieties sow themselves. They open the small cones in October and let the seed fall out. If there are still brown buds on the tree of life in the spring, these are in fact dried-up seeds.
