Not every garden owner finds paved garden paths beautiful, others shy away from the work of creating such a path. An attractive alternative could be a gravel garden path, but this path should also be carefully planned and laid out.

With a gravel path, you are not bound to given shapes, such as a path out of pavement slabs. Therefore, you can create wonderfully curved paths with gravel. Even a variation of the width of the garden path is easily possible with gravel. However, you should not exaggerate it, otherwise the path and thus your garden will quickly become restless and perhaps even inharmonious.
Does a gravel road need a substructure?
Also, a garden path made of gravel should get a substructure, so it looks long and looks well maintained. The substructure, also called the base course, prevents the gravel or gravel from mixing with the earth underneath. Weeds also do not grow so fast on the way through the substructure, which makes it easier for you to take care of them.
How do I start a gravel road?
