How to rejuvenate a shaleed yucca palm
Like all creatures, even the most beautiful Yucca or Palmlilie gets older. Just large specimens of the cultivated as a houseplant Yucca elephantipes tend over the years to a crooked growth - the trunk grows "crooked" - and gradually verkahlen. A makeover is absolutely necessary.

If your yucca palm has a rather thin trunk and only a few leaves or no more and if so, then only very long and thin shoots, then this could be due to a lack of light. Yuccas are plants that need a lot of light and are best placed directly in front of a south-facing window - and over the summer months in a sunny and warm outdoor space. See your yucca as described, then rejuvenate it - and then look for a new, more suitable location. In addition to the lack of light and the associated lack of growth, there are other reasons why a rejuvenation cure for the Yucca may be necessary:
For all the above reasons, the best method is to cut the yucca into several pieces and re-root healthy shoots as cuttings.
Cut up and rejuvenate the frosted yucca palm tree
As a rule, this type of propagation works very well, even if you naturally have to trim the plant for it. You can cut whole yucca into pieces or just "head" them and put the top of the head in a mixture of sand and potting soil. This will most likely re-root, so you have another plant right away - you can either cultivate alone or put together with the mother plant in a (larger!) Pot. The capped Original Yucca will also drive out new and with a little luck even train several shoots.
Tips
Also the frost hardy relatives of the Yucca elephantipes, the garden yuccas like Yucca gloriosa or Yucca filamentosa, can easily be rejuvenated. These stemless types of palm trees can be easily shared.
