There are two methods by which you can multiply your Venus flytrap yourself. Either pull them from self-harvested or purchased seeds, or divide the plant into several parts.
You get seeds if you pollinate the hermaphroditic flowers with a brush or put the venus flytrap outdoors more often in summer. It is then pollinated by insects.
Fertilized flowers form countless small black seeds in capsules. When they are ripe, the capsule opens and seeds are shaken out. Until they are sown in March, they are put in a paper bag in the fridge because Venus fly traps are cold germs.

It takes up to 20 days for the seeds to germinate. If the seed is older, it can take longer. Old seed does not germinate anymore.
The surface should never dry out. If necessary, sprinkle the seeds regularly. The plastic hood should be vented occasionally so that nothing rots.
After emergence, the plants are pimped and later placed in individual pots with carnivorous soil.
Multiply Venus fly traps by splitting
The best time to multiply venus fly traps by sharing is early spring, when the plants have to be repotted anyway.
Carefully remove the venus flytrap from the pot. Pick the plant apart so that sufficient roots and leaves remain on each part. You can also share them carefully with a knife or a pair of scissors.
The offshoot put them in prepared pots and care for them like adult plants. However, you should only expose them to direct sunlight after a few weeks.
Tips
Always place pots with Venus fly traps in a deep coaster that you fill with water. You should never pour directly onto the plant. Use only rainwater or distilled water.
