Fix pond liner to concrete - what can you do?
If the embankment walls are made of concrete and the pond liner is to be tied there, good advice is often expensive. Which solutions are possible here, and which work less well, you will find in detail in our contribution.

Fixing the pond liner is essential in this case. It must be pulled up to the edge of the embankment. But fixing them there requires a stable solution.
The fastening materials then have special conditions:
bonding
A very good and very easy way is that stick the foil. As an adhesive that adheres well to concrete, one should think above all of the adhesives that roofers use for permanent and permanent gluing of films.
These are usually adhesives that are based on styrene rubber. They are suitable for both PVC and EPDM films and reliably and permanently bond the film to the concrete.
In terms of cost, gluing is not expensive - for 2 - 3 m² of film you need glue for around 15 EUR.
rail fastening
In addition to gluing or as a sole measure for fastening rails are especially suitable. Because of the high corrosion resistance required and the required low expansion, only anodized aluminum and stainless steel are considered here.
Plastic rails are a bad choice, as they are good corrosion resistant, but can expand significantly when heated quickly. Especially in the shore area, the sun is often very intense, which also leads to intense warming.
To visually conceal the rails, you can simply clamp shore mats under the rail, and then simply hang them down over the rail later. This makes both pond liner and rail in the bank area invisible.
Tips
Most sensible will probably be a combination solution of gluing and rail fastening. In any case, permanent hold is guaranteed.
