Tips

Cover the spinach with a damp cloth. By this simple measure you slow down the process of withering, so that the vegetables on the fourth day taste good and intense.

Caution: When you return home, put your spinach in the refrigerator immediately and do not store it for too long without refrigeration. This also means that you should bring the green vegetables after purchase as quickly as possible to safety and should not be with him for some time.

Store spinach in the freezer

There is a possibility to preserve spinach for several months or even one to two years. To do this you must freeze it. Our short guide will show you the correct procedure:

Blanch the spinach for a few minutes. Shake it briefly in ice water. Gently squeeze the spinach and dry it. Pack the vegetables portion by portion in freezer bags or cans. Seal the containers airtight. Put the spinach containers in the freezer.
