Cut out the weeds

When dandelions, clover, moss or fungi spread, the lawn is either not dense enough or the location is too moist and shady. Dangle dandelions, clover, daisies and other wild herbs as soon as possible.

Mowing keeps weeds low which will not flower and leach out. At the same time, the lawn becomes dense and leaves root weeds no air.

Bald, yellow or brown spots

Bald spots in the lawn are usually caused by heavy use or lack of nutrients. Loosen the spot and make sure that the soil is missing nutrients. Then sow some grass seed.

Yellow and brown spots are caused by canine urine or over-fertilization. Pour water over affected areas to dilute the concentration of pollutants.

Red spray is a sign of too much nitrogen in the soil. Fertilizing and moderate blasting help against this turf problem.

Tips & Tricks

Lawn seeds will last four years if stored cool. Do not forget to buy a little more than you need to plant the lawn during the first few years.
