Dryness can be the reason why the phlox does not flower
When the phlox does not bloom
Phlox is an adornment for every flower garden, especially at flowering time, whether you opt for mostly low-growing annual varieties or the perennial herbaceous phlox. If the flower leaves, then there are good reasons for this.
Why does the phlox not bloom?
The phlox does not like it very much if it is planted very deep. This could cause the plant to flower sparsely or not at all. Did you water your plants sufficiently and give them enough fertilizer? Even pests in the root area are sometimes responsible for the lack of flowering.
What to do, who the phlox does not flower?
If you are not satisfied with the flowering of your phlox, dig out the plant best. Inspect the roots thoroughly for pest infestation. If all goes well, plant the phlox again, but not quite as deep as before. Pour the plant well and maybe give it some fertilizer and more space.
Sometimes the phlox is also very sensitive to its environment and location. If you have taken all measures and your plant does not bloom yet, then there is only the change to another variety that may better tolerate the soil or the neighboring plants.
