Sowing behind glass for the perfect start to the season
The heat-needy pumpkin plants may only from the middle / end of May in the fresh air. A cultivation in the house is therefore recommended so that the plantlets start with a beneficial growth advantage in the season. The fresher the seed, the shorter the germination time.
An exemplary germination temperature is around 25 degrees Celsius. In this case, the germination time does not take longer than 1 week. In the bright window seat at slightly cooler temperatures of 18 degrees Celsius, growth is progressing rapidly. A cover is no longer necessary.
