Can a garden lounger be re-strung?
If the cover of the garden lounger is damaged, there is a risk that it will tear completely and therefore is no longer useful. Since the covering must meet certain conditions, it is not easy to string the couch itself.

Very strong awning fabric may be suitable, but can only be sewn really well with an industrial sewing machine. Inexpensive, lighter awning fabrics are not advisable, as they pass through very quickly and soak up too much with water.
There are special mail order companies that offer outdoor products. Here you could try to order a suitable fabric for the covering.
Tips
Check in the spring, if the covering of your couch is still intact. Also, you should see if all the screws are still stuck and the hinges are working. With a few means, you can then recycle the lounger.
