Delete the garden house - how and why?
Life is colorful, and colorfully painted garden sheds are currently very much in vogue. Do you rather love it naturally? Protection against blue mushrooms
There are about 100 different species of fungus that can penetrate into the built-in wood, for example by cracks in the paint or because it is completely missing. They cause visually a blue, gray or green color of the natural material, which earned you the name Bläuepilz.

Sort out strongly resinous boards or treat them with a resinous medium. As a result, cracks are formed by leaking resin, which can arise after painting avoided. Through this mushrooms could penetrate into the wood or the beautiful paint peels through water after a short time.

These emphasize the attractive grain of the wood. They should definitely be pigmented for good UV protection. The dyes ensure that the UV light is reflected, preventing wood damage. Please keep in mind that dark tones heat up a lot. This can lead to cracks in the wood. The most unproblematic are middle tones.
Weatherproof paints
These are your own, if you want to paint the house cheerful colorful, but the grain is completely covered by the color. They form a water-impermeable, elastic film on the wood which is breathable and moisture-regulating.
If you paint the wood with weatherproof paints and pay attention to correct processing, the protective layer will last up to five years. It is important to use an impregnating base before painting. Most paint manufacturers offer well-coordinated products whose effects complement each other perfectly.
But the wood is already pressure-impregnated - do I have to delete anyway?
If you like the natural gray look of weathered wood, you can do without the paint on wood that has already been treated in the factory against blue-fungal fungi. However, you must then repeatedly check the arbor for dry cracking and, if necessary, treat it with an anti-blueing agent. This also applies to holes or saw frames that reach into unprotected wood.
Repaint regularly
It is not enough if you paint all the boards before assembling and then leave the house to yourself. About every two to three years, a new coat of paint is due. The natural material wood is biodegradable and decomposes over the years, it is not sufficiently protected from the weather.
And how should be deleted?
Natural wood tones fit perfectly in a natural garden, as they fit very well into the environment.
With cheerful colors, you can give the house a completely new look. How about a bower in Swedish red or Frisian blue? For this, accents in white look wonderfully fresh.
