How to properly maintain your fan flower - the best tips and tricks
The blue fan flower is often sold as a one-year balcony flower, but is perennial, but not hardy. For wintering, she needs a frost-free bright winter quarters, in summer she feels most comfortable on a sunny balcony.
The fan flower is about 20 - 30 cm high, but forms up to one meter long hanging shoots. So it is ideal for the planting of window boxes and hanging staffs. The beautiful fan-shaped blue or purple flowers show up from May to October.
