An easy-care Weigelie is with its colorful flower abundance not only an eye-catcher in parks but also in the home garden. Small dwarf varieties are also suitable for cultivating in the tub, while large varieties grow up to three meters high.

Prepare the soil well
A looser, permeable and nutrient-rich soil is ideal for the Weigelie. You can prepare a less suitable soil but accordingly. Add some sand to heavy soil and add a good portion of well-rotted compost to the planting hole to increase nutrient density. Waterlogging, like many other plants, does not tolerate waterlogging.
