Forget-me-not - one-year, two-year or perennial?
Forget-me-not you can pull one-year, two-year or perennial. How many years a plant holds depends on the variety and the care. The most commonly planted varieties of Forest Forget-me-not are biennials.
Forget-me-not one year old
Forget-me-not in the balcony box are pulled almost exclusively year. You can buy them in preference, maintain them in the box and tear them out after flowering and throw them away.
After all, these are also two-year-old plants, as forget-me-nots are sown and brought forward in the first year. They only blossom in the second year. The difference is that the gardener takes over the preference.
Two-year forget-me-not move
Most forget-me-not plants are maintained biennially. Most of these are breeds of forest forget-me-not, which grows every two years. In the first year you sow plants or multiply existing forget-me-not plants from cuttings or root division.

Forget-me-not is a hardy plant. As a perennial shrub in the garden she needs no winter protection. Only freshly placed young plants should be covered with leaves or brushwood to protect them from frost.
Tips
The earlier you sow forget-me-not in the first year, the sooner the flowers will blossom in the following year. In good weather, the first flowers already appear in April. If sowing later, you will have to wait for flowering until May or even early June.
