With an easy-to-make screen protection made of branches, you can protect parts of your garden oasis in a natural way from prying eyes and provide a special atmosphere of umrichtten garden area. As a material, you can use different types of branches that occur when pruning trees and shrubs. However, these should cut as freshly as possible in relation to the required elasticity and generally not be much thicker than a finger.Just insert branches with a larger cross-section at a distance of five to ten centimeters into the ground. As a fence in the soil inserted branches are also suitable as a climbing frame for fast-awake, attractively flowering climbing plants. The late winter is the ideal time to cut willow branches for a green screen. With these not only the already widespread children's tepee can be planted in the garden, but also attractive fences with a narrow width and a correspondingly economical space consumption of the existing garden area can be realized. Pastures are reliably rooted at any location that is not too dry, and they are replanted very quickly. The between 50 and 200 cm long cuttings should be but at least 15 cm deep into the soil to be inserted, which succeeds after extensive rainfall particularly effortlessly.

For an automatic height limitation and an aesthetic appearance, the upper shoot tips of the willow cuttings can be woven into a kind of handrail. For this purpose, twigs inserted obliquely into the soil are woven into the vertically rising branches in aesthetic regularity and interwoven at the desired height with the respective neighboring cuttings.
