Anyone can buy ready-made copies, right? It is much more fun to raise the desert rose from seeds and with your own hands. But what should you pay attention to? How long does it take to first flowering?
To germinate the seeds
When sowing the seeds, not much can go wrong. But one aspect in particular can dissuade sowing from success: if you sow the seeds too deeply, you need not be surprised if they do not germinate. They should be sown at a maximum depth of 1 cm. It is better to just push it to the ground and keep it moist.
Put in a warm place and wait
If the seeds have been sown properly, they will now come to a warm place. Well suited are heated living rooms and kitchens. You can also put the seed pot over a heater or in the vicinity of the stove. Much heat accelerates the germination process. It usually takes 4 to 10 days for the seeds to germinate. It may take longer.

First, the future strains become apparent. They are brownish-green structures, which rise first from the earth. They are elongated, smooth and stand upright. Within a few days, the first, fresh green-colored pair of leaves are formed on them.
