Sage proves not only in terms of its care as a manifestation of frugality. The same applies to the uncomplicated propagation. How cuttings turn into magnificent sage plants is explained in the following guide.

If a sage is fully in the juice just before flowering, the herb will not only provide a rich harvest. Moreover, in June and July is the best time to tackle the propagation by head cuttings. Ideally, the flower should not have used, because then the plant energy flows from the foliage in the colorful splendor. How to do it right:
To promote the rooting, put another plastic bag over and place the seed pot in a partially shaded, warm place. Keep the soil constantly moist during the following 2-3 weeks. The cover should be ventilated daily to prevent formation of mold.

If the tender roots peel out of the bottom opening of the potting pot, a new root system has developed on the cuttings. If a fresh green shoot sprouts out at the same time, the young plant is mature. How to plant your pup in the bed:
Place the stuffed sage in the center of the small pit and plant it just as deep as it was in the pot. Now comes a good sip of water. In the following weeks, the young plant is regularly watered so that they spread their roots quickly. Repeated shedding of the shoots is conducive to bushy growth.
Tips & Tricks
Thanks to its lush flowers, sage is considered to be an excellent bee and butterfly pasture. Its nectar contents even surpass those of rapeseed. Even if you do not like the intense taste of the Mediterranean cuisine, at least one copy should be present in the natural garden.
