Lawn mower goes off all the time - What to do?
If a lawnmower stops constantly, it does not necessarily have to be a serious, technical defect. In most cases, two causes are responsible for the problem, which you can solve yourself. This guide explains what to do when a lawnmower keeps going out.
Low gasoline level makes lawnmower powerless
If your lawnmower is permanently in the service, first look into the fuel tank. If there is only a small amount of gas left in it, the mower stops at every bump. The liquid swirls back and forth in the tank, so at low water level, air gets into the fuel line and the engine runs out. After refueling with new gas, the mower will run without interruption.
Old gasoline causes the engine to die
Does the engine strike when you mow the lawn for the first time after the winter break? Then the fuel is too old. Without preservatives, the gas breaks down during the long break and can lead to resinification in the component system. Drain the over-aged gasoline and fill up with fresh fuel.
With spent spark plug the engine runs out of breath
When a lawnmower stutters and bothers nerves with dropouts, burned spark plugs are among the most common causes. If there is enough gasoline in the tank, then check the spark plug thoroughly. How to do it right:
