Three ways to multiply a whistle

Sow pipe winches

In local regions, pipe winds do not bloom very lush. Seeds are therefore sparse, if at all. If your pipe winds fruit with seeds, pick them and let the seeds dry. Attention: The seeds of the whistle are very poisonous!

Sow them in small seed pots in spring and cover them with soil. Until emergence, the pots should be wrapped in cling film to keep the humidity constant.

Set the pots bright and warm. Ideal is a sunny window, where temperatures up to 25 degrees prevail.

Cutting cuttings

Easier is the propagation over cuttings. Cut cuttings of 15 inches in length from one- or two-year-old shoots. Remove the lower leaves and place the shoots in prepared pots with potting soil.

Place the pots in a bright, warm, sheltered place. Keep the soil moist. That the cuttings have formed roots, notice that new leaves expel.

Once the pot is well rooted, you can put the whistle in the field or a bucket.

Whistling over the absorber multiply

Pipe winches in the open air are the easiest to multiply by lowering in early summer. Choose a not too old shoot, which you can bend down to the ground.
