Passiflora (Passiflora) impress with their extraordinary flowers, which bloom in magnificent colors. The climber of the passionflower family (Passifloraceae) is native to the warm South American habitats, but also thrives in the native garden. The plant family is very diverse with about 500 members.

Passiflora feels most comfortable in a sunny, sheltered location. However, the plant should be protected from the midday sun.
