Can I remove papyrus from offshoots myself?
Papyrus is quite easy to multiply. If a division is not an option for you, then you may also be able to pull your new seedlings from offshoots. But you need a bit of patience besides a healthy starting plant.
How do I cut off offshoots?
The proliferation of the real papyrus by offshoot is quite difficult, on the other hand, the "false papyrus", so other varieties of Cyprus grass, it succeeds very easily. Cut off the stalks about 5 cm below the petals here. The best time to pull off is the summer. You can try this type of propagation even with the real papyrus, but with little chance of success.
