To correctly estimate the germination period of peppers
Although peppers originate from the warm climate of Central and South America, you can also harvest their fruits in your home garden. Either you buy young plants or you can pull peppers from seeds themselves.
The seeds may be dried or removed from fresh, ripe peppers and dried. Best seed quality can be recognized by the following criteria:
How long is the germ duration?
The germination period of paprika seeds varies depending on the quality of the seeds, temperature and sowing depth. At best, the seeds germinate already after five days, but often the patient gardener has to wait for up to two weeks until the first pepper seedlings are visible.
Activate germination of the chili seeds
To improve the germination and germination of dry seeds, soak them in lukewarm chamomile tea or garlic water for 1 to 2 days. This destroys any existing germs and fungi on the seeds.
