Watering cress properly - not so easy!
As unpretentious cress is in terms of soil and location, the more problematic it is to water it properly. Too little water is just as harmful as too much moisture.
The biggest mistakes when watering cress:
Make sure the cress is moist but not too wet. If you have poured too much, let the excess water run off.
Use a spray bottle to pour. With a hard stream of water from the watering can or outdoors from the garden hose, you flush out the seeds. The cress plants settle on too much casting pressure on the ground.
Tips & Tricks
If you want to be sure that the cress does not mold in the cress bed, rinse the cress with fresh water once or several times a day. As a result, it remains well moist without waterlogging can develop.
