Carrots sing for a rich harvest
Since carrot seeds are very small and light, it comes quickly to a very dense sowing in the rows. However, the root of the carrots needs as a proper fruit body enough space for an unhindered development. If a lot of carrot plants are close together, you will only get thin roots without good usability at harvest time.
Separate carrots without rejects
Since carrots are rarely preferred in pots and pikiert, it usually comes only in the outdoor sown rows to a need for singling. However, surplus carrot plants do not need to be thrown away. These can be transplanted with a little instinct to a vacant spot in the vegetable patch by first potting the soil and then carefully pulling out the plants.
