When does lungwort have its heyday?
If bees see the color pink, you know that there is still something to be found here. If, on the other hand, they see the color blue, they usually evaporate quickly from the location of the lungwort. What is it about and when exactly is the heyday of the lungwort?
One of the first early bloomers
Almost immediately after planting in spring, the lungwort blossoms. It is one of the first shrubs that bloom in spring. Thus, it is considered a valuable bee pasture. The flowering period begins between March and April and lasts until May.
