To multiply the queen of the night by offspring - is that possible?
In the trade seeds are often offered, with which you can use this beautiful cactus itself. If you already own a Selenicereus grandiflorus, you can multiply these well by offshoots. Note some basic points, this is much easier than you thought.
The right time
The cuttings cut should be made in the main growing season between April and August. If the plant has already set flowers, you must no longer cut off offshoots, as these then much worse or no longer root.
Cut off the offshoot
Use caution so that the interfaces do not become infected:

First let the cut surface dry for several weeks in a bright but sunny spot, standing upright. After a few days, a thin protective skin forms, which protects the cutting against invading pathogens and fungi.

Insert the offshoots with the cut side into the soil and support the cuttings with wooden sticks if necessary. A plastic hood is not necessary. After a few weeks, roots form and the cuttings start to drive out. But until you see the first flowering you have to be patient, because this takes at least five years.
Tips
When repotting, unintentionally, shoots break down again and again. These are great for multiplying the Queen of the Night.
