However, experience shows that sensitivity to frosty temperatures depends on the type and variety of the Judas tree and that no Judas tree is really hardy. Therefore, you should either pack well-cultivated Judas trees in buckets and place the pot on a wooden or styrofoam mat (in climatically warmer regions) or, if you live in a harsh winter environment, overwinter it at a maximum of 10 degrees Celsius.
Tips
Especially in the spring you should look out for late frosts and cover the crown over night, otherwise buds and flowers could freeze.
