Do raspberries need winter protection?
Basically raspberries need no winter protection. The plants are hardy and survive even very cold winters. however, you should protect by a mulch cover. Raspberries in the pot also need a light winter protection.

If you have created a new row of raspberries or a raspberry hedge in autumn, you should cover the young plants over the winter.
