Pomegranate trees are not hardy

The easy-care, short-lived plant from the Orient is native to the warm climates. The pomegranate tolerates short temperature drops well, but no permanent frost. Over wintering the container plant

After the last frosts, the pomegranate tree can take its place in the garden or on the terrace. A sheltered spot on the south wall of the house is well suited.
Hibernate outdoors
In the vineyards, where the summers are long and the winters mild, the pomegranate trees can be grown as open-air plants. You need a sunny, sheltered location.
