Parsley turns yellow: Prevention of parsley disease!

Choose the right location
Parsley does not like it too warm and sunny. A half-shady location is her favorite. The soil should be humus rich and very loose. Above all, crop rotation plays an important role.
Note crop rotation
Parsley is highly incompatible with itself. On the parsley bed, no umbellifer need to have stood for three years.
These include parsley, carrots, dill, celery, fennel and all other umbelliferae. If these plants are grown on the same bed in subsequent years, there is a growing danger that soil pests and fungi multiply uncontrollably.
Pour parsley properly
The biggest problem with parsley care is watering. It must not be too dry nor tolerate too much moisture or even waterlogging.
Provide a porous floor so that rainwater or irrigation water can not accumulate.
Carefully pour the parsley. Check with your finger if the upper layer of earth has dried off, and then pour again. Do not give too much water.
Soil pests and fungal spores trigger parsley disease
Soil pests such as root lice, nematodes, maggots and fungal spores feel particularly good at the roots of umbelliferous plants such as parsley. These pests are often so small that you can not see them with the naked eye.
If the pests have taken root in the garden, this usually also affects the compost. If you use infested compost to improve the new parsley bed, you increase the risk of the parsley becoming yellow later.
Prefer parsley in pot or sow only from August
There are two solutions to grow strong parsley. Sow the herbs in a pot of potting soil and plant them in the field from August.
