Stainless steel is modern and elegant

Build a stainless steel waterfall yourself - you should pay attention to this

A self-built waterfall does not necessarily have to be built of concrete and stones. Instead, you can also install easy-to-install and straightforward stainless steel waterfalls that you can buy in ready-made sets in any specialty store. With a little manual skill, these installations can also create themselves.

Advantages of a waterfall made of stainless steel

Stainless steel as a building material is mainly used in gardens of modern style: The clear, structured lines and the futuristic-looking design fits perfectly in garden landscapes with elegant, geometric lines, in which natural materials such as wood and stone are used as well as stainless steel and other metal. Such a design not only fits modernist style houses, but can also be adapted to traditional architectures. But a waterfall made of stainless steel impresses not only by its appearance: It is also easy to install and extremely easy to clean. In contrast to concrete, for example, stainless steel is water-repellent and therefore does not require any additional moisture protection - instead you can simply use the material on its own.

Varied variations

At the same time, stainless steel offers numerous possibilities for variation: In addition to simple water walls, the material is also suitable for cascade waterfalls and for tiered variations - for example by stacking several stainless steel tanks on top of each other so that the water gently splashes down. By the way, you can also dress stainless steel, for example, with thin plates made of natural stone. For very special lighting effects you provide the water wall with a colorful LED lighting. In addition, objects made of stainless steel or other metal can be used for the construction of a waterfall. For example, you can install several watering cans in such a way that the higher water always empties into the one below, until the cool water finally settles in a pond or water basin pours.

Tips

For the construction of a waterfall, preferably choose galvanized stainless steel, as this is better protected against corrosion.
