Bogenhanf (Latin Sansevieria) is one of the most popular houseplants for home and office. The showy plants have, depending on the species and variety, quite different manifestations. In one, however, all varieties are the same, because the plant is considered extremely easy to clean.
Different growth forms and colors
Bow hemp is available in many different breeding forms, which may have monochrome or multi-colored ("colorful") leaves. These are usually outlined in white or yellow and have a more or less pronounced transverse change. But not only in the color, also in the growth form and height, the individual species and their varieties differ. Thus, in addition to the strictly upright waking Sansevieria with broad leaves, there are also root-forming variants or those that grow in rosettes and are quite small-lived.
