Low plant hedges as a natural boundary
As a bedding limit, many compact, low-growing plants are suitable. Still very popular is boxwood, which, however, the Buchsbaumzünsler in many regions clogged. Shrubs such as the small-flowered rhododendron, the hedge myrtle or the hedge-hawk are cut-resistant and very attractive alternatives, which are visually distinguishable only at second glance from the "real" book.
Classic culinary herbs such as thyme or even chives form dense and very appealing boundaries. How about a fragrant bed of lavender that blends well with roses? The plant world sets the fantasy almost no limits, so that for each bed, whether in the sun or in the shade, a pase, natural limit.
Wooden bed frame
Wooden bed frames are available in different variants. Very popular are low palisades of semicircular woods, which are connected with a stable wire. They can be broken into the ground without great effort and form a very appealing lawn edge.
If you are adept in craftsmanship, you can make your bedding border out of willow yourself. The flexible rods, wound around vertical pegs, create a very pretty bedding border, which fits wonderfully into peasant and natural gardens.
Shuttering boards can also be used to make natural bed borders. These are very robust and seem a bit more massive. They go well with vegetable beds, which give them a stable frame.

Natural stone can look visually appealing, especially if it is piled up without mortar to low bedding limits. The workload for this is a bit higher, because the small wall requires a stable surface and careful work. But rewarding this bedding limit with their beautiful appearance and longevity.
Tips
For natural bed frames, include the substrate in the planning. If the soil is heavily compacted, causing rainwater to accumulate, or if the garden floor is very wet, only very weather-resistant hardwood is suitable. Alternatively, choose plants that do not mind getting wet feet occasionally.
