Water Areca palm frequently in summer

The Areca palm is native to Madagascar. There alternate rainy and dry seasons. This means that the palm is often used as a houseplant in the summer and less frequently in winter. So you are casting Areca palms right.

Cast Areca palm properly

In summer, the Areca palm tree needs a lot of water. Pour it regularly. However, the palm does not tolerate any waterlogging, so you should immediately pour off excess irrigation water in the saucer.

In winter, the Areca palm likes it a bit cooler. It is then less cast. As soon as temperatures fall below 18 degrees, reduce the water supply. The bale should never completely dry out.

Use soft water to water palm trees.

Tips

To avoid diseases, pests and brown leaves, you should increase the humidity in the room. This is especially true in winter, when the rooms are heated and the air is therefore very dry.
