The African Ringbasket is a very decorative groundcover. From May to September, its bicoloured flowers glow in the garden. Mostly they are pink and white colored. Every morning the flowers open to close in the evening.

In the rain, however, the delicate flowers remain completely closed, because too much moisture tolerates the African Ringkörbchen not good. It prefers sun and sandy soil. Since there is virtually no information about any potential toxicity, it can be assumed that this plant is not poisonous.
