Some selected succulent species are hardy and survive the cold season in the bed. Without horticultural help, the hard-boiled exotics are still not enough. So hibernate your succulents outdoors with success.

From August, the care program will be modified to prepare your succulents for the coming winter. That is how it goes:
Only in the bed do succulents have the chance to spend the winter outside. In the scarce earth volume of a vessel with less than 30 cm in diameter, there are only slight prospects for an undamaged winter time in the open, as the root balls freeze through. Big tubs get a thick winter coat made of foil and coconut mats as well as a wooden base. In a wind- and rain-protected niche, winter-hardy succulent species can withstand frosty temperatures.
