As soon as its fruits dry after maturity, the fruit chambers open explosively and shoot out the contained seeds. The seeds can fly up to 250 cm. On a moist soil they sow themselves and new plantlets emerge no later than next spring.
A stubborn root weed

Even if the plant is torn out, along with a few root parts, it will survive the foothills. They are persistent and difficult to remove.

Before you resort to hard things like chemical nuggets, you should try the mechanical combat. The sorrel is weeded. This method requires patience and should be tackled early in the year, ideally between March and April.
