For radish is the whole year round season
Because there is radish for the summer and winter harvest, this healthy root vegetable with the pleasantly sharp taste is available all year round. Even more: about 10 months a year, the radish comes from local outdoor cultivation.
The early radish varieties are ready for harvest in April. Most summer radishes are harvested in June. In June, the first sowing of the winter varieties takes place, which lasts until September. The winter radishes are then harvested between October and December. Hardly any other vegetable can come up with such a number of harvests a year.
