    Peel the quinces. To do this, use a solid peeler or a sturdy paring knife. Alternatively, a coarse cloth comes into question, with which you rub off the shell. Quinces are very hard and defend themselves accordingly with physical forces to release their core. To make the job as easy as possible, you should first quarter the fruits with a sharp knife and then gently cut the core out of the stem using the same tool. The procedure is similar to the one you use when cutting an apple. Now cut the flower bud off all quinces. Next you should blanch your quinces. Bring water in a saucepan to a boil. Then add the fruit and turn the heat back so that the water is still simmering. Let the quinces draw for about three minutes. Remove the fruits from the hot water and fry in a colander with cold water.Carefully dry the peeled, pitted and blanched quince. For a simple kitchen towel is sufficient. But make sure that the fruits are really completely dry. In wet or damp condition, they have nothing to look for in the freezer - they would only bad and therefore inedible. Put the prepared quinces in freezer bags or in boxes (boxes) that are suitable for your freezer. There are two points to consider: First, you should not overfill the containers, but portion them; every fruit needs a bit of room to literally unfold. On the other hand, it is important that you extract the excess air from the freezer bags - either by mouth or (more easily) with a vacuum sealer. Label the freezer bags or cans with the date.
