Building a point foundation for the garden house
Anyone who builds a new garden house must first decide on a pases foundation. Of the various substructures, the material-saving and easy-to-create point foundation is very popular with those who build the garden house itself. However, it is not only cost effective, but also extremely stable, as it transfers the burden of firmly concreted points in the ground.
What does the foundation cost?
The material price for this foundation is very easy to calculate. For example, if you are planning for 25x25 centimeter points that are 80 centimeters deep, you might get the following:
25 cm x 25 cm x 80 cm = 50,000 cc = 50 dm³, which corresponds to 50 liters per foundation point.
The number of foundation points you ultimately have to cast depends, among other things, on the strength of the beams you use: the thicker they are, the farther they can be apart. A concrete point per meter is the minimum.

Now mix the concrete according to the manufacturer's instructions and fill the hole. Concrete should always be mixed with the shovel so that the material compacts well. Apply concrete just below the edge and smooth the top.
The H-anchors are placed in the still moist material and precisely aligned with the batter board. Allow the concrete to harden for at least 24 hours before starting to erect the arbor.
Tips
By point foundations with post anchors, the wood has no direct contact with the ground. This ensures a very good ventilation and prevents the rotting of the resting on wet ground wood. The dot foundation is also ideal for a garden house on stilts.
