Since the Phacelia can be very easily and quickly drawn from seeds, it is usually not preferred in preference to other garden plants or bought as a young plant, but sown directly in a suitable location. But you can also let nature take its course and consciously allow the phacelia to grow into your garden. If the seeds were not applied too late in the autumn and the seeds on the inflorescences could ripen, you can hope in the following year with a reasonable certainty on an effortless repetition of the flowers of the Phacelia.
Tips for sowing
In principle, it is possible to flexibly cultivate the Phacelia in the field from spring to autumn, as long as the seeds are kept evenly moist during the almost two-week germination period. If you mix the relatively fine seed with some fine sand, then the sowing by hand in the garden is usually a bit easier. Immediately after sowing, the seeds should only be gently grounded and thoroughly watered.
