Pull parsley: This is how the cultivation succeeds
Sowing parsley is not difficult. Far more difficult for impatient gardeners to muster enough patience until the seed germinates. This can sometimes take several weeks. It's a bit faster if you water the seeds first.

The best time for sowing parsley
In the pot you can sow parsley from February to August.
In the field parsley is sown from March. The soil temperature must be at least eight degrees.
It is better to bring the parsley seeds into the ground from August. Then pests no longer play such a large role and the dreaded parsley disease can be largely avoided.
Parsley germinates very slowly
Since it takes quite a long time until the first leaves appear, soak the seeds before sowing.
Put it in lukewarm water for several hours. So that the wet seed can be better sowed, mix it with some fine sand.
The mixing of radish seeds has also proven itself. As radishes germinate much faster, you can better cultivate the nursery rows. The radishes have long been harvested when the parsley needs the space.
Sow parsley in the field
Choose a partially shaded location with not too dry soil on which no umbellifer had grown three years previously.
Prepare a flower bed for the herb by loosening the soil thoroughly, removing it from the weeds and refining it with ripe compost, cornmeal or horn shavings.
Pull rows at a distance of 15 to 20 centimeters. The sowing depth should be about 1.5 centimeters, because in contrast to other herbs, the parsley is not a light germ, but a dark germ.
Sow parsley in rows
Sow the seeds in the prepared grooves and cover them with at least one centimeter of soil.
Keep the surface moist. It can take up to four weeks for the parsley to germinate.
Once the plants have reached a height of five centimeters, you have to pimp them. The ideal planting distance is ten centimeters.
Sow parsley in the pot
Fill small pots with potting soil. Sow up to ten seeds per pot and cover with soil. Moisten the surface and place the pots in a warm place.
Tips & Tricks
Once the plants have accumulated, separate them into one parsley plant per pot. From a size of seven centimeters, you can also easily plant outdoors.
