Palisander trees are very fast growing and cut well. If you want to breed the tree as a bonsai, you will need to grab the pruning shears at the beginning. Cut back the tree stronger in spring. During the rest of the year, shaped cuts are made as needed.
The leaves can be quite large. It is therefore advisable to continuously remove very large leaves to make room for smaller foliage.
