The pruning shears are at hand, the will to step into action is noticeable - but not too premature! If you make a mistake now, you may lose your narcissi and you will not see them again next year.
Cutting flower stems saves energy
After the flowering period is over, daffodils are endeavored to form seeds. Since this costs a lot of energy, it is recommended to spare them this exhausting procedure. For this, the withered flower stems are cut off at the base.
