The right location for the Lenz rose
Lenz roses are not very demanding. The absolutely hardy, but unfortunately poisonous spring flowers need little care. Only at the location they value a few conditions. So you find a place to plant the Lenzrose.

An ideal place for the Lenzrose is under deciduous woody plants, since these donate only little shade.
In quite shady places the Lenz rose does not thrive. The flowers remain small and the shrub does not bloom long. In addition, the risk of waterlogging is very high in pure shadow locations.
In contrast to the lentil, the Christmas rose prefers calcareous soils. Christmas roses tolerate shady locations much better than Lenz roses.
Tips
In the vicinity of or under coniferous trees and rhododendrons, lilacs do not thrive. There the soil is too acid.
