Lenz roses bloom in very different colors
The heyday of the Lenz rose begins in February
One of the first flowers in the garden is the easy-care Lenz rose. It already blooms when the beds are still covered with snow. For several weeks, lilacs delight the gardener with ever new blossoms in white, pink, yellow, red or purple.
The heyday of the Lenz rose
Depending on weather conditions, the first flowers of the unfortunately poisonous Lenzrose from the end of January. The main flowering period starts in February or in very bad weather in March.
The perennial flowers for several weeks when temperatures do not rise too high.
In contrast to the Lenz rose, the Christmas rose is already in bloom in December, just in time for Christmas. However, it bears only white flowers, which are also smaller than the Lenzrose.
Tips
Lenz roses are up to 40 inches high. A popular variety is "Party Dress Flamingo", which produces light pink flowers with purple dots. There are now even breeds that carry different flower colors.
