Lavender has faded - is this the right time to cut?
The lush lavender fields of Provence are usually harvested in August. Therefore, the recommendation to prune lavender in late summer comes from. Tips & Tricks
If lavender gets too big, you can transplant it. The best time for this is right after flowering in July / August, as the plant will still have enough time to vigorously grow roots. You should crop it at the same time as described.
