Braiding decorative lavender rods and wreaths by yourself
The custom of braiding freshly picked lavender stems into a rod comes from Victorian England. Again, you should only use freshly picked lavender if possible. Now take a small bunch of lavender and lay it flat on the ring. Wrap the stems approximately two to three times with the wire. Now place the flower spikes of another bundle on the wrapped stems and fasten this bundle again as described above. This is how you proceed until you have wrapped the entire ring with lavender.
