Are you allowed to cut a Kentia palm?
Like all palm trees, Kentia palm trees are not cut back. When cutting the tip, the vegetation point would be removed, so that the palm can not continue growing and even enters. You may only cut brown, dried or sick leaves.

How to cut a Kentia palm properly

If you want to slow down the growth of your Kentia palm, you can trim the roots as you repot the palm. Just cut off a few side roots. Do not hurt the long taproots. If these are damaged, the Kentia palm can enter.
