How often do you have to fertilize a Kentia palm?
Only when the Kentia palm gets enough nutrients, it can develop many green, healthy fronds. You therefore have to fertilize them regularly. How often you need to fertilize which fertilizer is suitable and what else you need to consider.
Fertilize Kentia palm properly
Kentia palms are fertilized only during the growth phase from March to September.
Add the fertilizer to the irrigation water every four weeks. Alternatively, you can of course also use fertilizer sticks, which are administered depending on the type of fertilizer in spring and later again in summer.
Which fertilizer is suitable?

Do not overdo fertilizer

In winter, the Kentia palm takes a rest. During this time, the palm must not be fertilized. Only from March / April will she get fertilizer again - unless you have just repotted her.
